Fall is just around the corner and you know you need to update your family photos for your upcoming Christmas cards. Christmas? Yes, I said Christmas. Before you know it, it will be Christmas Eve, you'll be drinking wine and wrapping presents thinking about those Christmas cards you didn't get to send out because you forgot to book your photo session! Momma, I'm right there with you, and I'm here to help!

Let's get prepared for a successful Christmas and successful photo session. Momma, I know what you are thinking - my kids are NOT going to cooperate. That's okay! My goal is to photograph your family as it naturally occurs. I'm not your typical, Hey, look at me and smile, type of photographer. Interactions between you and your family is what I'm after. Of course I'll grab that hey look at me and smile photo for Grandma (because it will be her favorite) but most of our time will be spent moving and interacting with one another, not the camera.

My sessions are fun and easy going so tell Dad it will be quick and painless. Oh and back to your kids behavior, I want to remind you again don't worry about it! Leave it to me to worry about the behavior. Kids are kids! No need to threaten or bribe them to smile at the camera. Most of the time, they don't need to be looking at me anyway, but if I do need them looking my way, I'll prompt them to.

Now let's get back on track and talk about what you are really here for, a photo session, so let me share the details. Sessions will be 15 minutes long and take place on our family farm on Sept 30, Oct 1, & 2. We will be in a field and I'll have my old green truck there as well. You'll get beautiful images of you and your family to share and look back on for years to come. You will receive an online gallery of about 15-20 images for viewing, sharing, and downloading for $165.

Now, you're probably wondering what your family will wear? I got you! I want to make this photo experience as stress-free as possible for you, so I've set up a styling service just for you! More information will be provided after booking. : )

Okay, so I know this is a lot to take in at once, but I have a few more points. I get asked about animals and props. You can absolutely bring your dog to your photo session. I treat pets like kids - let me worry about your dog's behavior and where your dog is looking. I don't want you to fret about the way the dog is acting or handling a new location. Props? Eh, not a fan. I feel like props take away from free movement and the style I like to achieve, but if you absolutely want something in your photos, bring it along. This is your session!

Okay, I think that's it! So grab your gang and come on down to the farm. Click the link below to view my calendar and schedule your session. I can't wait to see you!
